Sring News 2010

Last August I shattered my left wrist. Setting up my canopy for the Mount Gretna Show, my stepladder collapsed out from under me and I went down. Instead of exhibiting at the show I spent the weekend in Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon having emergency surgery. They treated me very well there. It has taken some time to recover from my injury; with the help of my husband I was able to make it to the rest of my scheduled shows last year.

So far this year I’ve shown in Chantilly, VA in January in a snowstorm and in Cranbury, NJ in March during the “monsoon”. Hopefully the weather will be a bit kinder to me as I go through the rest of the year.

Look for my Christmas ornaments at the shows; I usually only do them in the winter, but they have proved to be a good seller well after the holiday season, so I’m showing them all year long now. Also, I’ve been making small packages of magnets at a discounted price. Look for both the ornaments and magnet sets at shows this year, not yet available through the website. Finally, I continue to add dog breeds to the magnet line. I fear there may be no end to the demand for additional breeds and colors!

All of the world is a studio, Diane at work, in her kitchen/studio.
